Taxis in Vlora

Vlora is long and thin along its bay, so a taxi is the easy link between the centre, the southern beaches, Zvërnec and the bus stops. Use official taxis and agree the fare first.

The most reliable way is to ask your hotel or restaurant to call one. To book yourself, here is one local company that publishes its WhatsApp and phone number — it is one option among many, not the city’s official service.

Hola Taxi

Editorial

Vlorë (office on Rruga Sali Vranishti)

A Vlorë taxi company that takes bookings by WhatsApp or phone, for rides in the city, to beaches and other destinations, and to the airport.

Good for
You can message a booking in writing, with the pick-up point and the agreed fare, instead of hailing in the street.
Keep in mind
One company among many in Vlora, not an official city service; its 24/7 hours and fleet are its own description. Agree the fare when you book.

Not paid to appear. Details from the company’s website, checked 17 October 2026. Confirm details directly.

The map search shows places others have mapped; it cannot tell you which are licensed or available.

When a taxi makes sense

  • From the centre to the southern beaches — Uji i Ftohtë, Radhimë, Orikum — especially in the evening.
  • North to Zvërnec and the Narta Lagoon, or up to Kanina, where public transport is thin.
  • To and from intercity bus stops with luggage.
  • Late at night, when minibuses stop running.

How to take one

  • Use officially marked taxis. Canada’s travel advice says official taxis are generally safe.
  • Agree the fare before you set off, or insist the driver uses the meter — the same advice. Write the agreed price on your phone and show it.
  • Ask your hotel or restaurant to call one — the most reliable way at night.
  • Carry small notes in lek. Do not count on card payment in a city taxi.

Airport runs and day trips

From Tirana airport, the airport taxi service publishes a fixed fare to Vlorë of about €105–110 per car — see Airport transfers. For a day out (Llogara, the Riviera, Narta), agree the full price, the stops and the waiting time before you leave.
