Tirana airport to Vlorë: bus, taxi or transfer

Bus, taxi or transfer?
Airport bus timetable
Hermes Airport runs the direct shuttle between Tirana airport (Rinas) and Vlorë. Tirana International Airport lists these times and a fare of 1,200 lek single:

The journey takes about three hours. The airport’s bus page lists the operator’s phone and e-mail; intercity times can also be checked on eTransport, the national bus platform.
Airport taxi
The airport’s taxi service publishes fixed fares by destination. For Vlorë it shows about €105–110 per car (155 km). It says the price includes road taxes and luggage, payment is possible in lek, euro, by card or bank transfer, and bookings can be changed free up to two hours before pickup.
Use the official taxi rank or book in advance; do not accept offers from unofficial drivers in the arrivals hall.
Private transfers
A pre-booked driver meets you at arrivals with a name sign. Before you pay a deposit, get in writing: the total price (and currency), vehicle size, waiting time if your flight is late, and a phone or WhatsApp number that works on the day.
Going back to the airport
Buses leave Vlorë for the airport at 01:30, 03:30, 06:00, 07:00, 09:00, 11:00, 13:00, 15:00, 20:00. Allow at least three hours for the road plus check-in time, more on summer weekends, and ask where the bus leaves from in Vlorë — stops have moved in recent years.
