On the right days the wide camera views show paragliders crossing the bay high above the Lungomare. Tandem flights with local pilots launch from the slopes above Vlora and land on or near the beach, with the whole bay, Sazan and Karaburun laid out below.
Flying is decided by the pilots on the day: wind strength and direction matter far more than sunshine. If you can see gliders on the camera, conditions are flyable right now; if you cannot, ask the operator rather than assuming.
